AI disclosure
Where AI is, and isn't.
Researchers get asked to disclose this, so we should too. Plainly, and on one page.
‡On your page: none
Nothing on your published page is AI-generated. Your page is typeset, not generated: the layouts are designed templates, and your content comes from your ORCID record, rendered verbatim. Same record, same settings, same page, every time.
No AI rewrites your bio, summarises your work, or fills gaps in your record. If a word appears on your page, either your record put it there or you typed it.
‡Your data: never sent to models
Your record is never sent to an AI service and never used to train a model, ours or anyone else's. This follows from a promise we already make on the privacy page: zero third-party requests, on this site and on every published page.
‡In the workshop: yes
We use AI tools in building Offprint: drafting code, layouts and site copy. Everything ships human-reviewed, and the decisions about what Offprint is and how it treats you are made by people. The result is the product you can inspect, and the promises on this page apply to it regardless of which tools helped build it.
‡This won't change
There are no AI features on Offprint, and none are planned. Your page is a faithful rendering of your record; that is the whole product, and it doesn't need a model. If you ever read otherwise, hold us to this page.
